Kuala Lumpur: The first part of the new report by
researchers MH370 revealed nothing substantial in the baffling mystery
surrounding the disappearance of the Boeing 777 two years ago.
Team International Air Accident Investigation provided a
brief summary of his work in his three-page statement.
The statement said a final report would be released after
the location of the remains of the aircraft or when searching for the wreckage
is completed, whichever comes first.
It said eight areas being examined by the team include the
diversion of the flight path plan field operations air traffic services, the
profile of the flight crew, airworthiness and maintenance of aircraft systems
and satellite communications.
The research team is also reviewing the impact of debris and
other information between the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Malaysia
and Singapore Airlines and load carrying aircraft.
Meanwhile, the prime minister said Malaysia Nazak remains
hopeful that MH370 be in the area of 120,000 square kilometers under
investigation.
"If not, then Malaysia, Australia and China will hold a
tripartite meeting to determine the way forward. We remain committed to doing
everything within our means to solve what is a harrowing mystery to loved ones
of those who were lost, "news.com.au quoted him saying.
Martin Dolan, Australian Transport Safety Bureau chief
commissioner said the fact MH370 however, was found in the search priority only
increased the chances that found in the remaining 30,000 square kilometers.
Yesterday marked two years since he disappeared during
flight MH370 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12
crew on board.
