Higher Dietary Calcium Intake May Reduce The Risk Of Cardiovascular Disease

The role of dietary calcium intake on cardiovascular disease, stroke and fracture is controversial. (Representational Image)

LONDON: In older adults, especially women, higher dietary calcium intake may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, but not stroke and fracture, new research suggests.

"The role of calcium intake in the diet in cardiovascular disease, stroke and fracture is controversial. The aim was to assess whether high intake of dietary calcium increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and fracture in a population with low calcium consumption, "he said the study lead author, Sung Hye Kong hospital of Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea.

The researchers conducted their study among individuals in Ansan Ansan and ongoing prospective cohort study based on the community of Korea, which began in 2001.

The authors conducted their analyses on 2,199 men and 2,704 women over 50 years old with no history of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Participants in the study reported their food intake of diet on regular food frequency questionnaires.
Cardiovascular disease, stroke and fractures were recorded during interviews and examinations every two years.

The results suggest, in older women in this population with low calcium intake in the diet, increased calcium intake was significantly associated with decreased risk of cardiovascular disease, but not significantly associated with risk of stroke and fracture.

Obese people struggling with weight loss can now opt l for safe, minimally invasive non-surgical weight-loss treatments,

This treatment appears to be effective in helping patients lose a significant amount of weight in the short and medium term.

NEW YORK: Obese people struggling with weight loss can now opt l for safe, minimally invasive non-surgical weight-loss treatments, a new study finds.

Radiologists have developed a new image guidance called bariatric arterial embolization (BAE), which blocks blood flow to a part of the stomach that could help obese patients lose weight treatment.
"Currently, interventions for the treatment of obesity include behavioral changes, diet and exercise, medication and surgery. We are delighted with the promise of BAE as another tool for providers of health care to provide patients the effort to stop this epidemic, "said Clifford Weiss, a professor at Johns Hopkins University in the United States.

The results showed that compared to a surgical procedure gastric bypass, BAE is significantly less invasive and has a much shorter time recovery.

Although results are still preliminary, BAE appears to be effective in helping patients lose a significant amount of weight in the short and medium term.

All patients showed weight loss and dramatic levels of hunger reduction after undergoing the treatment.

Participants showed a loss of excess weight average 5.9 percent after one month.

After six months, the loss of excess weight increased to an average of 13.3 percent.

Treatment begins by feeding a small catheter through the arteries of a patient through an incision in the groin or wrist, to an area in the upper part of the stomach called the fundus, where it occurs stimulating hormone ghrelin the hunger. Small droplets are injected through the catheter to reduce blood flow to the fundus.

For the pilot study, the team enrolled seven adults with severe obesity, but otherwise healthy, with body mass index (BMI) of 40 to 60, well above the threshold level of obesity BMI of 30.

After treatment, the researchers followed the subjects of weight loss, ghrelin levels, evaluations of hunger and satisfaction (through surveys) quality of life, blood pressure and adverse to one reactions, marks three six months.

In these first seven patients, bariatric embolisation was safe, without significant adverse effects. There were no dramatic weight loss and reduction in hunger levels. In addition, ghrelin levels and lowered her scores improved quality of life.

The study was presented at the ongoing 2016 Society Annual Scientific Meeting of interventional radiology in Vancouver, Canada.

Common UltraViolet (UV) - Filtering Chemicals used in Sunscreens can Interfere with the Function of Human Sperm - According to a New Study

Many ultraviolet (UV) -Filtering chemicals commonly used in sunscreens interfere with the function of human sperm cells, the researchers said.

LONDON: Common ultraviolet (UV) - Filtering chemicals used in sunscreens, makeup, moisturizers and lip balms can interfere with the function of human sperm, according to a new research that may account for unexplained male infertility.

Many ultraviolet (UV) -Filtering chemicals commonly used in sunscreens interfere with the function of human sperm cells, and some mimic the effect of the female hormone progesterone, the researchers said.

"These results are worrying and could explain in part why unexplained infertility is so prevalent," said the study's lead researcher, Niels Skakkebaek, a professor at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

Although the purpose of chemical UV filters is to reduce the amount of UV rays getting through the skin by absorbing UV, UV filters some are quickly absorbed by the skin, said Skakkebaek.

UV filter chemicals reportedly found in human blood samples and in 95 percent of urine samples in the US, Denmark and other countries.

The researchers tested 29 of the 31 UV filters allowed in sunscreens in the US or the European Union (EU) on living, healthy human sperm from fresh semen samples obtained from several healthy donors cells.

Sperm cells were tested in a buffer that resembled conditions in the fallopian tubes female.

Specifically, researchers evaluated calcium signaling within the cell caused by changes in the concentration of calcium ions.

The movement of calcium ions within sperm cells through channels calcium ion plays an important role in the function of sperm cells, according to Skakkebaek.

CatSper is a sperm-specific calcium ion channel, he said, it is essential for male fertility. This channel is the main sperm receptor for progesterone, a hormone powerful attractant for human sperm cells.

Progesterone binding CatSper causes temporary influx, or surge, of calcium ions in the sperm cell, control of various functions of sperm needed for fertilization.

The researchers found that 13 UV 29 (45 percent) filters tested induced influx of calcium ions in the sperm cells, which interferes with the normal function of the sperm cells.

"This effect started at very low doses of chemicals, below the levels of some UV filters found in people after application of whole body of sunscreens," Skakkebaek said.

In addition, nine of the 13 UV filters seem to induce the influx of calcium ions through direct activation CatSper channel, thereby mimicking the effect of progesterone.

The results suggests that these UV filters are endocrine disruptors, Skakkebæk said. In addition, several UV filters sperm affected important functions normally controlled through CatSper such as sperm motility.

"Our study suggests that regulators should take a closer look at the effects of UV filters on fertility before approval eyes," Skakkebæk said.

There Are Ways That Can Help Reduce Your Symptoms And The Risk Of Having An Asthma Attack

New Delhi: Living with asthma can be difficult and scary. But the good news is that there are ways that can help reduce symptoms and the risk of having an asthma attack.

An asthma occurs when the airways of the lungs become inflamed and blocked by mucus, making breathing difficult. It tightens the chest and lungs seem to produce a hissing sound.

If you have asthma, you will probably never go out without your inhaler. However, if you forget your inhaler due to negligence or unforeseen circumstances, emergency follow these guidelines:

Sit up right and do not lie down – Bending over or lying down can constrict your breathing even more.

Stay Calm - Keep Calm and not to panic is the best in this situation. Keep Calm also prevents further tightening of the chest muscles and makes breathing easier.

Take long, deep breaths - Take long, deep breaths can help slow your breathing. Try to breathe through your nose and exhale through the mouth.

Drink hot caffeinated drinks - Drinking caffeinated drinks like hot coffee can help relax the airways, which provides temporary relief.

Avoiding asthma triggers - An asthma attack can be triggered by exposure to dust, cigarette smoke or the smell of other chemicals. Away from triggers and go to a place with clean air.

Seek medical help - seek immediate medical help if the attack does not disappear after some time.

An alarming obesity rates in the past 40 years increased

LONDON: More than 640 million people worldwide now weigh as obese and the world has more overweight than underweight people, according to an analysis of global trends in body mass index (BMI).

An alarming obesity rates in the past 40 years increased: the number of people with a BMI over 30 has increased from 105 million in 1975 to 641 million in 2014, the study found. More than one in 10 men and one in seven women are obese.

BMI is calculated by dividing a person's weight in kilograms by height in meters squared, and is an indication of whether a person is a healthy weight. A BMI greater than 25 are overweight, over 30 is overweight and over 40 is morbidly obese.

"The number of people around the world whose weight poses a serious threat to your health is greater than ever before," said Majid Ezzati, a professor at the School of Public Health at Imperial College London.

"And this epidemic of severe obesity is too broad to be addressed with medications such as low blood pressure drugs or treatments for diabetes alone, or with some additional bike lanes."

To try to make a real difference, Ezzati said it was necessary to adopt comprehensive measures coordinated, including the fight against pricing healthy foods compared to unhealthy, or encumber high blood sugar and highly processed foods.

However, too low body weight remains a serious public health problem in the world's poorest regions, the study authors said, and rising global obesity trends should not obscure the problem that many people do not get enough to eat.

In South Asia, for example, nearly a quarter of the population is underweight. In East Africa, about 12 percent of women and 15 percent of men and core are underweight.

The study, published Thursday in the medical journal The Lancet, involved the World Health Organization and more than 700 researchers from around the world. data on weight and height of nearly 20 million adults in 186 countries analyzed.

It was found that over the past four decades, the average age male-corrected BMI increased to 24.2 from 21.7, and women rose to 24.4 from 22.1.

This is equivalent to the population of the world becoming an average of 1.5 kg heavier per decade, the researchers said.

They predicted that if these global trends continue, 18 percent of men and 21 percent of women will be obese by 2025.

Other key findings of the study were that:

* Japanese adults had a BMI of the lowest of all high-income countries, while American adults had the highest BMI.

* More obese men and women now living in China and the United States than in any other country.

* The lowest BMI of Europe were among Swiss women and men in Bosnia. Men in Britain were 10 higher BMI women in Europe and the third highest in Europe.

* Morbid obesity, where the weight of a person interferes with basic physical functions such as breathing and walking, now affects about 1 percent of men and 2 percent of women. In total, 55 million adults are morbidly obese.

With 400 million people suffering from diabetes worldwide, the disease has become a global public health crisis.

It is said that one in 11 adults is suffering from the disease, however, half of them even have not been diagnosed. This is why diabetes has been termed as a "hidden killer".

Diabetes is a lifelong disease, metabolic affects the way your body handles glucose, a type of blood sugar, in the blood. About 90% of people with the disease worldwide have type 2 diabetes.

The warning of diabetes are so mild that sometimes do not even notice it, especially in type 2 diabetes Some signs and symptoms of diabetes are:

  • Make frequent trips to the bathroom to urinate
  • Increased thirst
  • Hunger and fatigue
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Blurred vision
  • Slow healing sores or cuts
  • Yeast infections - between fingers and toes, under the breasts, in or around the sex organs
If you notice any possible symptoms and suspect you may have diabetes, consult your doctor immediately to avoid complications in the body. In addition, people with risk factors for diabetes and a family history or overweight should be evaluated on a regular basis.

Air pollution in the US may be the causing of thousands of premature births each year, a New Study Suggests

Exposure to particulate matter has been involved in all types of adverse health outcomes and is believed to be responsible for millions of premature deaths each year. (Representational Image)

Air pollution in the US may be the cause of thousands of premature births each year, a new study suggests - costing the nation billions of dollars along the way. The study, published Tuesday in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives, lends support to a growing body of research pointing to the grim health consequences of air pollution around the world and its spectacular economic burdens.

The new study focuses on one type of pollution known as fine particulate matter - tiny particles less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, which can be emitted by traffic, factories and other industrial activities. Exposure to particulate matter has been involved in all types of adverse health outcomes, especially cardiovascular problems, and is believed to be responsible for millions of premature deaths each year. Now, growing evidence also must be linked to problems related to pregnancy and childbirth, including preterm birth, said Leonardo Trasande, associate professor of pediatrics at the School of Medicine, New York University professor.

The mechanisms underlying this phenomenon are not fully understood, but it is believed that exposure to air pollution can cause inflammation of the placenta during pregnancy, which can ultimately lead to premature birth. Preterm birth - which usually is defined as the delivery more than three weeks before term - is associated with a variety of medical problems, including an increased risk of infant mortality, breathing and feeding difficulties, paralysis cerebral increased risk of developing other diseases and developmental delays that can lead to cognitive impairment throughout life.

What is less clear are the economic implications of these complications - and that's an important factor to consider in discussions about air pollution, which is often divided into two parts: the costs of pollution abatement which generally fall on the shoulders of those responsible for its creation in the first place, compared to the social costs of polluting industries continue.
"So we decided to quantify the burden and costs of preterm labor that may ultimately be traced to fine particles disease," Trasande said.

Trasande, together with colleagues from the University of New York Patrick Malecha and Teresa Attina, took data on air pollution from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and data on preterm birth from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They used previous research on the risk of preterm birth associated with exposure to particles to estimate how many premature babies were caused by exposure to pollution in 2010. They reached the conclusion that more than 3 percent of all premature that year births could be attributed to fine particulate matter - almost 16,000 in total.

The researchers then turned their attention to the costs associated with these premature births. Using a report from the National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine 'Science, they concluded that direct medical costs came to about $ 760 million in 2010. Far more weight, however, were the costs associated with loss of economic productivity.

A frequent consequence of preterm birth is the appearance of developmental disabilities. The researchers were interested in estimating economic losses resulting from these disabilities - essentially economic productivity that has been lost throughout the life of an individual as a result of cognitive impairments and decreased ability to work .

Previous studies have drawn connections between preterm birth, lower IQ and lifetime earnings of an individual. Based on that research, Trasande and his colleagues calculated that more than $ 4 billion were lost in 2010 as a result of reduced economic productivity. In total, medical expenses and lost economic potential add up to just over $ 5 billion.

While these are national estimates, researchers found that the effects were more severe in some parts of the country than others.

The highest percentage of premature births attributable to exposure to pollution is generally found to occur in large urban areas, and was generally higher in the Ohio Valley, Southern California and the Southeast River and the city of New York, southeastern Pennsylvania and Chicago.

"The implications also spread beyond the US to other parts of the world where it is likely to be a substantial problem of air pollution," Trasande said. "To the extent that exposures in third world countries where regulations are much more limited, it is likely that air pollution contributes more substantially with preterm birth."

The results highlight the importance of stricter pollution regulations to public health and the economy, said Bruce Lanphear, professor of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Canada. He referred to a series of concrete actions that could be taken to address the problem, such as improving public transport in cities to reduce traffic emissions and refraining from building schools or residential developments near major sources contamination.

But he also noted that when it comes to premature births, there are a variety of other environmental influences, in addition to the fine particles are likely to have an effect, including lead and mercury exposure.

"It makes no sense to face a risk factor, such as air pollution against another," he said. "Instead we must recognize that premature birth is the result of cumulative exposure to a number of risk factors."

Still, there is value in specific studies such as of Trasande said. "They estimate that accounts for air pollution by about three percent of all premature births, which is quite considerable," he said, adding that this kind of concentrated studies can help draw attention to changes in the specific policies that need to be done - that when all combined, can have a significant impact on public health.

Honey is a great way to keep sugar levels in the blood, muscle recovery and glycogen restoration after a workout. Regulates the amount of insulin and energy expenditure in the body.

Increases Memory

Honey is full of antioxidants that can help prevent cell damage and loss within the brain.

All Natural Energy Drink

Honey is an excellent source of natural energy to only 17 grams of carbohydrates per tablespoon. This natural sugar, raw - fructose and glucose - enter directly into the bloodstream and can deliver a quick boost of energy. Increased blood sugar acts as an energy source for short-term training, especially in longer endurance exercises.

Sleep Aid

Honey can be an aid to the health of sleepless nights. Like sugar, honey can cause an increase in insulin and release of serotonin - a neurotransmitter that improves mood and happiness. Moreover, honey also contains several amino acids, including tryptophan that is commonly associated with turkey. steady increase in insulin honey makes the honey tryptophan to enter the brain, where it is then converted into serotonin and then into melatonin, a sleep aid. This hormone is responsible for regulating the sleep-wake cycles.

It is tradition in families use green leafy vegetables in dals or fries.

This has become routine in our daily life we use one or the other leaf daily sheet during cooking. These are the cheapest items with rich nutritional value.

It contains calcium, iron, Vitamn A, C, riboflavin, folic acid and fiber high. So this is used in chutneys, soups and salads. While cooking; it should be closed with the lid because most of the nutrients are volatile. Meaning; They evaporated when they come to get warm. If water is left behind, after cooking, we can mix the lemon juice, a pinch of salt to the soup and do what is good for health.

Leafy vegetables have vitamins A, K and E in the surplus. They protect us from infections, clear breathing problems, prevents urinary and intestinal problems. Constipation problem can be avoided by taking a cup of leaf juice every day. Dietary fiber in leaves cleans stomach. Nutrients in them fight free radicals in the body.

Magnesium in the leaves to control high blood pressure. It is good for cardiovascular health by controlling bad cholesterol. Leafy vegetables are good for the eyes as well. So it's best to add them in the daily diet.

Office workers, take care of your chair! Hours of sitting could take a toll on your health, according to a new study.

Researchers in Sweden have carried out the study and found to be wheelchair for a long time can increase the risk of high blood pressure, slow metabolism, weight gain and diabetes of a person.

With the average person feel a little less than nine hours a day at the office, at home or in the car, even a daily workout is unlikely to offset the risks of sitting too long, according to the Daily Mail.

According to the researchers, prolonged sitting should carry a public health warning.

So why you are on the blacklist of the humble chair?

As the most passive activity behind lying down, being seated burns a minimum amount of calories - even eating an apple or concerns uses more energy than parking your bottom on a chair, says the study.

While standing involves the muscles of the back, shoulders and legs, sitting presents no positive physical challenge for the body, forcing place in an inactive state, the researchers say.

According to them, it is almost inevitable that long-term sitters find their expanding waistlines. While the action only burn up a few calories, it does several times a day and made a real difference.

It is easy to burn 30 to 50 extra calories a day, which is enough to prevent weight gain 2 pounds to 3 pounds a year. Spend your sitting time and the pounds creeps on unnoticed, the study suggests.

The findings are published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.

Want to keep a strong memory in old age?

A study has found that regular moderate to intense exercise in old age can slow brain aging 10 years.

NEW YORK: Want to keep a strong memory in old age? A study has found that regular moderate to regular exercise in old age can delay brain aging by 10 years.

According to the study, people who reported little or no exercise - the brains of 10 years of people who reported moderate to intense exercise.

"The number of people over 65 years in the US is increasing, ie, the public health burden of thinking and memory problems are likely to grow," said study author Clinton B Wright of the University of Miami, U.S.

"Our study showed that for the elderly, regular exercise may be protective, helping to maintain their cognitive abilities longer," Wright said in the study published in the online journal Neurology.

The team analyzed data on 876 people who were asked how long and how often were exercised during the two weeks prior to that date.

An average of seven years later, each person was given tests of memory and thinking skills and an MRI of the brain and five years after taking the memory and thinking tests again.

Of the group, 90 percent reported light exercise or no exercise, which includes activities such as walking and yoga. They were placed in the low activity group.

The remaining 10 percent reported moderate to high intensity exercise, including activities such as running, aerobics or calisthenics. They were placed in the high activity group.

The results showed low levels of activity showed a greater reduction over five years compared to those with high levels of activity in testing how quickly could carry out simple tasks and could recall many words from a list.

The difference was equal to 10 years of aging. The difference also remained after researchers adjusted for other factors that might affect brain health, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, blood pressure and body mass index.

When the skin is exposed to sunlight and other pollutants

Each woman is unique with her own charm and beauty. Sometimes these virtues are bidden away. When the skin is exposed to sunlight and other pollutants, free radicals initiate a chain reaction of three stages which damages the skin at every stage and over time. The sun is one of the worst skin’s enemies.

It is responsible for up to 90% of skin damage. Sun exposure can cause potentially deadly melanomas, as well as wrinkles. To prevent sun-induced aging, protect yourself with sunscreen protection cream having SPF -15.

Today's woman is extra ordinary, she knows exactly how to keep the perfect balance between her career and her family and leaves no opportunity unturned which leads to fulfill their dreams and reach the top of their desired success.

The skin is the major component of the human body and has several important functions. For example, the body protects against the environment, protects against dehydration, allows waste materials to pass through perspiration and helps maintain body temperature.

As a person ages, the skin structure change, specifically collagen and elastin protion of the corium change. The appearance of the skin changes with appropriate food at the right time. Every time you get home, immediately wash your face so that dust particles do not settle within the pores of the skin. Also, try to apply the papaya on the face to avoid wrinkles and also to get a brighter and smoother skin.

  • A knee sprain is an injury to the ligaments.
  • Grade I / II sprained knee, doctors suggest RICE rule treatment.
  • For grade III ACL or PCL sprain, surgery is performed.
  • In a severe sprain of LCL, the torn ligament often is repaired surgically.

MORE

A knee sprain is an injury to the ligaments, tough bands of fibrous tissue that connect the bones of the upper and lower leg at the knee joint.

Treatment Knee Sprain

Grade I / II Treatment

If you have a knee sprain grade I or grade II, your doctor will probably recommend that you follow the rule of rice, which is synonymous with rest of the joint, ice the injured area to reduce swelling, compress the swelling with an elastic bandage and elevate the injured knee.

Your doctor may ask you to suggest that using a bracket on the knee for a short period of time and a nonsteroidal  antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) is taken, such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin and others), to relieve pain and ease swelling .

After a few days as your knee pain goes slowly, your doctor will prescribe a rehabilitation program to strengthen the muscles around the knee. This program should help stabilize the knee joints and prevent damage to new.

If you have a knee sprain grade III or if multiple ligaments are injured, treatment depends on the specific type of sprain:

Grade III or PCL ACL Sprain Treatment

For grade III sprain ACL or PCL treatment, his torn ligament can be reconstructed with the help of surgery. In surgery, it is used either a piece of your own tissue (autograft) or a piece of tissue from a donor (allograft). Almost all knee reconstructions use camera-guided surgery (arthroscopic).

Grade III sprain sprained MCL and LCL

This injury is usually treated conservatively with rice, NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen) and physical therapy. In certain instances, surgery may be used.

Grade III sprain LCL

In a severe sprain of LCL, the torn ligament often is repaired surgically.

New Technique Soon, For Super Sensitive Test To Detect Cancers, HIV

The new technique developed increases the standard procedure with a powerful DNA detection technology. (Representational Image)

NEW YORK: Promise of a new technique developed by a team of chemists at Stanford University has shown that it is thousands of times more sensitive than current techniques for diagnosing disease - whether it is cancer or a virus like HIV .

Found more in laboratory experiments, the technique, described in the journal ACS Central Science, is being tested in clinical trials in the real world.

When a disease begins to grow in the body, the immune system responds by developing antibodies.

Fishing these antibodies or markers associated out of the blood is one way that scientists infer the attendance of a disease.

This involves designing a molecule that will bind to the biomarker, which is adorned with an identification "flag". Through a series of specialized chemical reactions, known as an immunoassay, researchers can isolate the biomarker flag and attached thereto to provide a measurement proxy disease.

The new technique, developed in the laboratory of Carolyn Bertozzi, a professor of chemistry at Stanford, increases this standard procedure with a potent DNA detection technology.

In this case, chemical flag replaced the series with a short strand of DNA, which can then be extracted from the sample using DNA isolation technologies that are much more sensitive than traditional detection possible for antibodies.

The researchers tested their technique, with its flag DNA signature against four commercially available tests for a biomarker for thyroid cancer.

It outperformed the sensitivity of them all, at least 800 times, and as much as 10,000 times.

By detecting disease biomarkers at lower concentrations, doctors could theoretically get diseases much earlier in its progression.

"The test of thyroid cancer has historically been a very difficult immunoassay because it produces a lot of false positives and false negatives, so it was unclear whether our test would have an advantage," said study co-author Peter Robinson .

"We suspect ours would be more sensitive, but we were pleasantly surprised by the magnitude," Robinson said.

Based on the success of the screening of the thyroid, the group has won a few grants to advance the technique in clinical trials for the detection of other diseases, including HIV.

The equation developed by scientists SMU, which was recently described in the Journal of Applied Physiology, is about four times more accurate.

NEW YORK: A new equation developed by scientists can more accurately predict energy expenditure walking, replacing the main standard equations used by nearly half a century that is based on the assumption that one size fits all.

"Our new equation is formulated to be applied regardless of height, weight and speed of the walker. It is significantly more accurate," said Lindsay Ludlow, a researcher at the Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas.

The equation developed by scientists SMU, which was recently described in the Journal of Applied Physiology, is about four times more accurate for adults and children together, and two to three times more accurate only for adults, Ludlow said.

"The economy level walking is much like sending packages - there is an economy of scale," said Peter Weyand, a coauthor of the study. "Great people will improve fuel consumption, when fuel economy is expressed on a per-pound" he added.

Research occurs at a time greater combined with mobile, portable sensors such as precision technology increasingly used in real time to monitor the health of the body.

Researchers have noted that some devices use the old standard equations, while others use a different method to calculate the calories burned.

  • Vitamin B2 keeps the skin, lining of the intestine and healthy blood cells.
  • Vitamin B3 has been known to improve moisture retention.
  • Vitamin B12 constant renewal of the skin is ensured.
  • Vitamin C helps collagen production that protects the skin from damage.

Nutrition is linked to healthy skin and anti-aging. Vitamins are an important food group to include in your diet every day, because it is important for healthy metabolism, facilitating the mechanisms of the body and perform many other functions.

For a healthy and prevent premature aging skin, vitamins should be included in your diet. Make sure you are getting enough of the following anti-aging vitamins to stay young and look beautiful.

Vitamin B2

Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, helps the body break down and use carbohydrates, fats and proteins in the diet. In addition, vitamin B2 keeps the skin, lining of the intestine and healthy blood cells, thus maintaining the effects of aging at bay. The best sources of this vitamin are nuts, vegetables, meat and dairy products.

Vitamin B3
