ANDHRA PRADESH - Chandrababu Naidu has Started Internet revolution in AP

India’s most IT obessed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of India has started a major digital initiative called high AP FiberNet. For beginners, the AP government has packed the cable, phone and Internet at lower prices than other Internet service providers are currently charging.

Chandrababu decided to provide Internet service to all households in Andhra Pradesh, at a very reasonable cost.

FiberNet provides quality broadband connection speed of 15 Mbps at Rs.149 per month, and offices will get a 100 Mbps connection at a price of Rs.999 per month. AP has been associated with this connection with John Chambers, Cisco executive chairman, to make the project a reality.

The cabinet is completed on the "Fibre Grid Project", which is the average Internet supply all 12 million households in Andhra Pradesh.

Even this provides 10 Mbps Internet Connection at a very cheap rate.

The Cabinet has allocated Rs 10 crore taking into account all the expenses necessary for the creation and also gave its report to the centre in connection with the provision of Internet.

Initially, the state intends to provide 1.30 crore with a speed of 10 Mbps for only 150 Rs.
