A recent report from a
mobile security company global threat has shown that the onset of an advanced
mobile malicious program has impacted more than half a billion Android devices
worldwide.
US-based Skycure made new
revelations about an evolutionary mobile malicious program, called
"Accessibility clickjacking" in the event that most cyber security of
the 25th edition of the world-RSA conference ended on March 4.
The company said this modern
mobile malware has the ability to evade detection scanner, which is based on
static, dynamic and analysis approaches signatures.
Highlighting the salient features
of malware "Accessibility clickjacking" the research said that can
"circumvent many security applications", which compromises all
important data stored on the device of the victim.
The research firm revealed that
fresh malware can monitor the activity of the victim in real time, allowing attackers
to read emails, possibly writing emails and company documents through the
device of the victim, as elevate their permissions to encrypt or remotely wipe
the device.
According to Skycure,
clickjacking is a technique of repairing interface attacker who tricks a victim
to click on an item that is totally different from the one he or she believes
that when you click.
"While a variety of
capacities have been implemented in browsers and web servers in order to
mitigate the risk of clickjacking, the mobile remains vulnerable and is that
Android is susceptible to a similar type of a threat," the company said in
recently published a blog.
Android smartphone users should
be careful when playing games or run any application because hackers can create
simple "benign" games that can trigger automatically
"Accessibility clickjacking" in the background without the knowledge
of the victim.
Skycure said, "clickjacking
accessibility may allow malicious access to all sensitive information based on
text on an Android device infected as well as perform automated actions by
other applications or the operating system without the consent of the victim
applications. "
As mentioned above, malicious
applications including e-mails, text messages, data and messaging applications important
applications such as CRM software, software marketing automation and more
business.
In such a scenario, users should
be wary Android applications and games that download in the first place.
Once accessibility has been
enabled on the device, the attackers have the power to change passwords
management without the knowledge of the victim.
Here is another video
demonstration Skycure, showing how they change the attackers, remove and
destroy all passwords without a trace:
No reason to worry about users of
smartphones with the latest Lollipop platforms and marshmallow, however,
malware accounts for about 65 percent of all devices that run on older
operating systems Android.
Skycure findings indicated that
nothing between Android 2.2 Froyo Android 4.4 Kitkat is more likely to be
affected is clickjacking.
