Indian software engineer working with Infosys has been reported missing in Brussels after the blasts that rocked the Belgian capital on Tuesday.

confirmed in a tweet that although no casualties were reported from India,
efforts were on to trace the infosys software engineer.
Having Infosys together for
training in Bangalore and Pune, Ragavendran Ganesan was sent to Belgium again
almost four years working with a telecommunications company there. His
colleagues in Brussels, said the explosion in
the subway station was on the route taken daily for work. Since the explosions,
however, there has been no contact with Mr. Ganeshan, who hails from Tamil Nadu.
Dhaval Ved, his colleague in
Brussels, said there have been more than 24 hours since contact with Mr.
Ganeshan stopped. His colleagues have been circulating information through
social networks in an attempt to get more information.
In a statement, Infosys said:
"Following the attacks in Brussels, Infosys all employees came to the city
to find all its employees in the city their whereabouts and safety. With the
exception of an employee we are trying to achieve, we have been able to connect
with other employees. We are in contact with the missing employee's family and
we are working with the embassy and local authorities in India in Brussels to
locate our employee on priority ".
Appealing for help in locating
national of India, Ms. Swaraj tweeted that spoke to the mother of Mr. Ganeshan
in Mumbai. Meanwhile, the Belgian Embassy has said teams had been sent to 234
hospitals where the injured had been hospitalized, and there was no sign of Mr.
Ganeshan.
