There is no stopping ruling TRS
party headed by CM KCR in Telangana. The party has already won Warangal and
Narayankhed by elections and recently swept the elections GHMC now showed his
power in Warangal and Khammam municipal.
TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi)
once again has shown its strength by winning big in local elections in Khammam
and Warangal municipal corporations and municipality in the district of
Mahbubnagar Achampet. After trying GHMC great victory in the polls, TRS have
demonstrated that muscle statewide and victory in GHMC and Narayankhed surveys
is not only by luck.
According to recent reports, TRS
has won 44 of the 58 seats in Warangal. Congress is in second place with three
seats and the BJP laughs to get one. Apart from them, they have also won eight
independent. Khammam, there was a record voting percentage of 68%.
This is also the first election
after the formation of Khammam Municipal Corporation. Even in Khammam, TRS won
34 out of 50 seats and Congress bagged 10. The much hyped YSR Congress Party
got only two seats.
Chandrababu Naidu of Telugu Desam
Party (TDP) was unable to open the account in both companies. In Achampet
Municipality, TRS made a clean sweep and won all 20 pavilions. Even in Great
Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) there was a percentage of 58.6% voting
