At the funeral, the mother of Pratyusha sang 'Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo' for her daughter as her last respects.
Though the ligature marks on the front and sides of the neck were found, the report does not rule out some cause of death yet.
Mumbai: The autopsy report TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, whose body was found hanging in the residence in Mumbai on
Friday, revealed that he died of "asphyxia". ligature marks were also
seen around the neck and reports also reveal that the cause of death was
asphyxiation. The post-mortem also that is a "clear case of suicide."
Reports claim that while it was
true that there was no foul play involved, could not be ruled out completely
either.
Pratyusha's body was taken away
for cremation after the post-mortem examination was completed.

The funeral of actress Pratyusha
Banerjee took place around 6 pm in the electric crematorium Oshiwara. After the
autopsy exceeded, the body of the actress was taken straight to hospital
crematorium for the last rites. A Pooja was performed because the body is
preparing for cremation. The actress dressed in bridal attire in accordance
with his last wish. While the prayers were going on the mother of the late
actress sang 'Aaj Ki Karo na jaane zidd' for her daughter left their last
respects.
A close friend present at the
funeral revealed, Pratyusha had asked his mother to return to the city, but for
some reason she was not able to join it and so while extreme unction is being
made mother emotionally devastated kept constantly saying sorry for him. The
father also went on her beloved daughter moving gestures' of Pratyusha parents
brought tears to the eyes of all the near and dear ones present in the
crematorium. After extreme unction the body was cremated at 6:20 last night.
Pratyusha Banerjee, aka Anandi
for her role in the popular television series Balika Vadhu, was found dead in
her suburban home on Friday at 5 pm. Her body was found hanging from the fan
with a dupatta by Pratyusha boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh and their cook.
Rahul informed the police and her uncle's death in Borivali around 18:30. She was pronounced dead at the
Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri (West) late on Friday night. Pratyusha parents
landed in Mumbai on Saturday morning and were taken to hosiptal Siddharth,
where his body was kept.
According to reports, Pratyusha
took this drastic measure because of the increasing financial pressures in the
last year. While some friends claim that he suffered a bout of depression after
recently split from her boyfriend of two years, others say that the two had
tied the knot in secret after her parents disapproved of their livein relationship.
